We seek a skilled and versatile Web Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in crafting an exceptional user experience for our e-commerce store. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for implementing our website’s front-end and basic back-end functionalities. Your expertise in front-end development will ensure an aesthetically pleasing, responsive, and user-friendly e-commerce platform. Proficiency in basic back-end development will enable you to handle server-side logic and database interactions required for essential website functionality. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the design and development teams to translate wireframes and design mockups into fully functional and visually appealing website pages and features. Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience by optimizing website responsiveness and interactions, making navigation effortless, and implementing user-friendly interfaces. Build a website that performs consistently across various browsers and devices, ensuring a consistent and pleasant user experience for all visitors. Implement best practices to optimize website performance, including page loading speed and overall site efficiency. Create a responsive design that adapts seamlessly to different screen sizes and resolutions, providing an optimal user experience on desktop and mobile devices. Handle server-side logic and database interactions to ensure smooth data processing and seamless functionality of essential website features. Work closely with other developers to integrate front-end interfaces with back-end functionalities, ensuring a cohesive and fully functional e-commerce platform. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of website components to identify and resolve any issues or bugs. Collaborate with the UX/UI Designers and Product Management Team to integrate user feedback and iterate on website improvements. Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our e-commerce store remains cutting-edge and competitive. Required Skills And Attributes Proficient in Front-End technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in front-end frameworks like React as a plus. Familiarity with server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python) and basic database interactions (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) to handle back-end functionalities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, other developers, and product managers. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, focusing on delivering high-quality and error-free code. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and understanding e-commerce user behavior and best practices will be an advantage. Qualifications Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web Developer. Portfolio showcasing your successful web development projects, preferably including e-commerce platforms. Physical Requirements This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs. , computer work, and other physical activities.
