We are looking for a strategic and creative Marketing & Social Media Manager to drive brand engagement, build community, and grow our digital footprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general marketing management as well as expertise in social media, with a proven ability to translate market insights into actionable campaigns.
Position Summary
The Marketing & Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and content strategies with a strong focus on social media, brand storytelling, and consumer engagement. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams, external partners, and creative agencies to help grow our brand both online and in-store.
Essential Functions
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives and drive growth.
Oversee annual and quarterly marketing calendars, ensuring integration of social media, digital, and traditional marketing efforts.
Support broader marketing initiatives including market research, competitive analysis, and brand positioning.
Plan and execute company-hosted and third-party events (sales meetings, tradeshows, conferences).
Manage relationships with external vendors for swag, printed POS, and promotional items.
Social Media Management
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and calendar aligned with brand and marketing goals.
Manage day-to-day social media posting, tracking and reporting across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
Monitor trends and platform changes to ensure relevance and engagement.
Manage influencer/creator partnerships that reflect our brand values and target audience.
Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices. Identify new channels and opportunities to expand brand presence and consumer engagement.
Content Creation & Management
Lead content development including copywriting, visuals, video, and influencer partnerships, and ensure all social content reflects brand voice.
Approve and oversee content before publishing to maintain quality and alignment.
Build and nurture a loyal online community through engagement and brand advocacy initiatives.
Respond to consumer inquiries and comments in a timely, brand-aligned manner.
Provide project management support for creative team to efficiently execute sales and marketing activities.
Use data and insights to optimize content and campaign performance.
Sales Enablement & Internal Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, R&D, customer service) to align digital with overall marketing strategies and support retail account growth.
Coordinate support for key retail promotions and new store launches.
Support sales initiatives with marketing collateral, presentations, and promotional support.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and report on KPIs across platforms to inform marketing strategies and future campaigns.
Use insights to optimize campaigns, content, and spend for maximum ROI and deeper consumer understanding.
Leverage brand management best practices to make recommendations and implement new ideas
Position Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing, with a focus on CPG brands, ideally in natural, organic, premium, or bakery categories.
Proven track record of managing social media platforms and growing brand presence.
Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive campaign optimization and business decisions.
Prior experience with POS/syndicated data, highly preferred.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills with attention to tone, grammar, and storytelling.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and analytics platforms.
Position requires travel and the willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Reports to: Director of Marketing
Compensation is based on the level of experience, other relevant experience, and requirements of the position. The range provided serves only as a guideline and does not automatically qualify all candidates (internal or external) for the high end of the range.
Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000
