Job Description
At SentinelOne, we’re redefining cybersecurity by pushing the limits of what’s possible—leveraging AI-powered, data-driven innovation to stay ahead of tomorrow’s threats.
From building industry-leading products to cultivating an exceptional company culture, our core values guide everything we do. We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to drive impact. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Senior AI Frontend Engineer to build the interface for Purple AI, our cutting-edge autonomous security platform. You’ll create user experiences that put AI-powered cybersecurity directly in the hands of security teams, transforming how they detect, investigate, and stop cyber threats in real-time.
This role presents fascinating challenges: How do you visualize AI reasoning? How do you make autonomous investigations feel transparent? How do you build interfaces that keep pace with AI processing threats faster than any human could? Working with design and product teams, you’ll turn machine-speed threat analysis into compelling interfaces that help security teams make critical decisions in seconds.
We’re looking for builders and engineers who thrive on creating technology that fundamentally changes how the world defends against evolving cyber threats. Your code will directly impact how quickly organizations can detect, investigate, and neutralize attacks. If you’re driven to build products that matter and solve problems that haven’t been solved before, this is where your expertise can make a real difference.
What will you do?
As a Senior AI Frontend Engineer, you’ll join our globally distributed team to:
Build and ship user-facing generative AI applications that redefine how people interact with intelligence.
Develop scalable, maintainable front-end applications using React, GraphQL, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Partner with designers and product managers to translate ideas into polished, accessible interfaces that prioritize usability and trust.
Integrate AI services and APIs (LLMs, agent frameworks, multimodal systems) seamlessly into front-end workflows.
Implement real-time streaming experiences for AI-driven interactions such as chat, summarization, and creative assist tools.
Optimize for performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and reliability at scale.
Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, ensuring our stack evolves with modern frameworks and best practices.
What skills and experience should you bring?
We’re looking for product-driven engineers who excel at creating compelling AI-powered interfaces, with:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience building and shipping production-quality web applications.
Proven success with React applications at scale, including modern patterns (hooks, context/state management, testing frameworks).
Strong proficiency with GraphQL and API integration patterns, including real-time data handling.
Hands-on experience integrating generative AI technologies and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Meta LLaMA, etc.).
Familiarity with agentic AI development tools (Claude Code, Windsurf, etc.) and relevant MCPs (playwright, etc.).
A track record of collaborating with design and product teams to deliver user-centric, accessible products.
Excellent communication skills and experience working in distributed, collaborative environments.
Exceptional candidates will also bring expertise in:
Full-stack experience or backend skills in Python-based services and APIs.
Performance tuning, accessibility, and reliability techniques for large-scale applications.
Deployment pipelines and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD).
Experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong testing strategies, CI/CD, and automated quality practices.
Technical leadership in frontend architecture and agile processes.
Understanding of cybersecurity and threat intelligence as context for application development.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every listed qualification. Strong candidates often bring unique strengths and experiences that do not align perfectly with every requirement. If this work excites you, we urge you to submit an application.
