About The Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our web applications team responsible for developing and maintaining the UI infrastructure that our customers rely on to leverage Unacast’s products. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing high-quality full-stack applications from conception to deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing cutting-edge user interfaces and possess a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. You will collaborate closely with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver features that enhance user experience and meet business objectives. Your work will contribute to the core portals that form a fundamental part of our offerings, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and user-friendly.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of software engineering experience with both front-end and back-end technologies
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
Experience with backend languages including Node.js, Python, or Java
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including design, querying, and maintenance
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows
Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and building large-scale, high-availability portals
Ability to balance frontend and backend responsibilities for optimal performance and scalability
Experience with browser profiling and performance optimization tools
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications from initial concept through deployment and ongoing enhancements
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features that delight users and fulfill business needs
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across both client-side and server-side systems
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure a seamless user experience
Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing engineering best practices
Contribute to the architecture, scalability, and security of core systems as the platform evolves
Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and processes
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into development workflows
