About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Processing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and verifying all account cards, preparing documents for scanning and retention, and ensuring the accuracy and security of client account information. Your primary duties will include processing new account setups, account closures, and address changes, as well as managing returned mail, transfer requests, and the setup of Debit MasterCard and ATM cards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in finance or related fields is preferred.
Proven experience in banking operations, data entry, or administrative roles is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with banking software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain seated for extended periods.
Responsibilities
Maintain and verify all account cards, ensuring accuracy and completeness for scanning and record retention.
Process new account setups, account closings, and address changes efficiently and accurately.
Handle returned mail, transfer requests, and other account-related correspondence with professionalism.
Set up Debit MasterCard and ATM cards for new and existing clients, ensuring timely delivery and activation.
Sort and prepare mail and documents for scanning, ensuring proper organization and security.
Reconcile control accounts and prepare supporting documentation to ensure compliance with banking standards.
Generate and review daily reports to monitor account activities and discrepancies.
Assist in training and mentoring department staff to promote operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
Make routine decisions in accordance with the CDE Policy and within approved approval limits, escalating issues as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
