Overview

The Graphic Design Intern will assist in developing visual content for marketing, and production-related initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced creative environment, working on diverse digital and print projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong design skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

This is a remote part-time position, up to 25 hours per week, with daytime availability required.

Responsibilities

Graphic Design Support

Assist in creating marketing materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, brochures, presentations, and website assets.
Ensure consistency across all design projects by adhering to brand guidelines.
Develop and refine layouts, typography, and visual elements to align with project objectives.
Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to execute design projects.
Provide creative input while maintaining brand integrity.
Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely project completion.
Production Assistance

Prepare files for both digital and print production, ensuring correct formatting and specifications.
Support and maintain updates for websites, brochures, and media kits, incorporating necessary design elements and content layout.
Software & Tools

Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other design software.
Work with content management systems (WordPress, Elementor Editor) for website updates.
Familiarity with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, MidJourney, Adobe Firefly) is a plus.

Time Management & Organization

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Keep design files organized and maintain clear documentation of project progress.
Leverage automation platforms and AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
Ability to work independently while taking direction effectively.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of web design, UI/UX principles, and Figma is a plus.
