Role 🎨

As a Software Engineer, you’ll help transform lives by building and scaling the AI-driven systems behind Mindbloom’s digital experience. Your work will unlock faster deployments, smoother fulfillment, and a major boost in developer velocity, making our platform smarter, faster, and more scalable to reach more clients, more effectively.

What You’ll Work On:

Implement the backend infrastructure that powers AI-driven features and company-wide AI adoption
Build and maintain APIs that power our web and mobile applications
Optimize backend performance and reliability for a seamless user experience
Improve developer velocity by enhancing automation and testing frameworks
Build infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support scaling and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and AI specialists, to deliver impactful features Example Projects:
AI Art Experience: Enhance the psychedelic artwork experience by implementing APIs that let clients edit their AI-generated art and purchase physical products from their artwork
Streamlined Fulfillment: Achieve 100% end-to-end tracking of medication fulfillment orders and <1% order tracking errors
Infrastructure Excellence: Upgrade infrastructure to the latest OS versions and optimize deployment pipelines to reduce deployment times
Developer Velocity Enhancements: Implement agentic development workflows to increase engineering productivity and shorten cycle times Tech Stack Proficiency Required:
Python (Django preferred)
Javascript (Familiarity, don’t need to be a pro)
AWS (ECS preferred)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Given Mindbloom’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further, note that Mindbloom has minimal hierarchy and titles, but the scope of the role and compensation will reflect your level, which is assessed throughout the interview process. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $140,000 – $180,000 USD. The actual base salary may differ based on your current level of job-related skills and experience, and market data changes. Total compensation for this role may vary depending on equity.
