Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts
Experience with Python, SQL or similar languages
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure preferred)
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Nice to Haves

Familiarity with Databricks for data analytics and engineering
Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration
Exposure to other cloud platforms or data engineering tools
Understanding or experience with Kafka for event streaming

Education

Anticipated Bachelor’s Degree computer science or STEM related field
Graduation date of December 2026 – June 2027
Ability to work during program dates: June 1st – August 7th 2026

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using Python
Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles in code design and implementation
Work with SQL for data querying and manipulation
Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications
Collaborate on projects hosted in AWS cloud environments
Manage version control and contribute to repositories using GitHub
Participate in an agile development process, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly range for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
