About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our SoarTech division, which specializes in data and AI, autonomy software, and advanced simulation and training systems. As a Graphic Designer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing digital products primarily based in Adobe Captivate and the Unity game engine. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising Instructional Systems Designers, Software Engineers, 3D Artists, and Tech Leads to create engaging and effective training software for military and civilian applications. Your role involves transforming conceptual designs into high-fidelity visual assets, ensuring seamless integration within the game engine environment, and maintaining a cohesive user experience. Regular collaboration with the Creative Director and Creative Operations team will be essential to align designs with project standards and objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that support national security and technological advancement.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite products.
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers to implement creative ideas.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance.
Responsibilities

Produce high-fidelity 2D graphics tailored for digital training products.
Create motion graphics and ensure their proper implementation by software engineers.
Design user interfaces for desktop and tablet-based applications.
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with software engineers and stakeholders.
Illustrate design concepts through mockups and visual prototypes for stakeholder review.
Provide ongoing feedback during the implementation process to ensure visual and user experience consistency.
Participate in regular workshops with the Creative Director and Creative Operations team to maintain cohesive design standards.
Apply design thinking and questioning techniques to develop innovative strategies for unclear pathways.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support project goals and team success.
