Position Overview

The Lacrosse Network is seeking a Video Editing Intern to assist with our growing content needs. This candidate must be a driven storyteller who is able to create innovative ideas, edit short + mid + long-form videos, and work within quick timelines. The role requires an expert level of lacrosse knowledge – knowing its roots, players, and the game itself inside and out. Reports directly to the Sr. Manager of TLN.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in relevant field
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro + Adobe After Effects
Proficiency with the entire Adobe Creative Suite preferred
High-level knowledge of lacrosse is required
Top notch organizational skills and attention to detail
Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Data-focused mindset – always tracking analytics and improving accordingly
Previous experience in Sports Production a plus
Ability to operate audio and shoot as a camera operator (Sony FX-6, Sony FX-3, DSLR), optional but preferred
Requirements

Serve as producer/editor on short, mid, and long-form content franchises
Editing social media content optimized for different platforms
Knowledge of video content trends across all main social media platforms. Including: Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Youtube
Editing sponsored content for partners
Ability to edit in-game highlights during game days (regularly weekends)
Script and execute custom video projects
Monitor industry trends and provide inspiration for the department

Compensation

Starting at $15.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on location and applicable state or local minimum wage laws.
Internship position / 30 hours per week
Media access to college and top lacrosse events
Opportunity to work alongside and learn from leaders of Premier Lacrosse League and The Lacrosse Network business units
