About The Role
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Design. This role is pivotal in creating high-quality visual assets with a focus on speed, clarity, and consistency across various channels including paid media, web, email, and social platforms. The ideal candidate will excel at designing and scaling paid ad creatives, landing pages, and supporting assets, ensuring they are optimized for performance and user engagement. You will also be responsible for conceptualizing animated ad ideas through storyboarding and collaborating with in-house animators for execution. This position is well-suited for an early-career designer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, takes initiative, and delivers polished work efficiently without extensive supervision. It is a marketing-focused role emphasizing rapid execution and creative versatility, rather than product or UI/UX design.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in graphic design within marketing or digital-first environments
Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and fundamental design principles
Experience designing for paid media, web, email, and social platforms
Ability to conceptualize and storyboard animated ad ideas
Proficiency in working with developers and preparing designs for handoff
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision
Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback from diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
Curiosity and familiarity with emerging Gen AI creative tools and workflows
Clear and effective communication skills, both visually and verbally
Responsibilities
Design and develop web pages and marketing landing pages in collaboration with developers, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and conversion optimization
Create and scale paid advertising creative assets across multiple channels, including static and animated ads focused on performance and engagement
Conceptualize and storyboard animated ad ideas, effectively communicating narrative, pacing, and visual intent for animator handoff
Design email marketing assets with attention to clarity, hierarchy, and conversion potential, ensuring smooth handoff to developers
Create social media assets aligned with campaign objectives and brand standards
Execute a high volume of design projects rapidly while maintaining high standards of quality and polish
Take ownership of projects from brief to delivery with minimal supervision
Collaborate closely with the Head of Design to evolve and refine the Wispr Flow brand identity
Apply existing brand guidelines consistently while extending the visual system through real-world use cases
Work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, development, and animation teams to deliver effective creative solutions
Adapt designs across various formats and channels without compromising clarity or quality
Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data, continuously refining creative assets
Proactively identify opportunities to contribute beyond assigned tasks to support team goals
