Job Description
Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA) is the only national organization that supports every part of the child care system. In partnership with an on-the-ground network of Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) organizations, we work in states and communities to advance high-quality, affordable child care—transforming a patchwork of resources into a system that works for everyone. Together, we make child care strong—and that makes everyone stronger. CCAoA is committed to recruiting and retaining a dynamic workforce to help build a child care system that serves all children and families. Join us in ensuring that every family has access to high-quality, affordable child care.
The Graphic Designer serves as CCAoA’s principal visual storyteller, creating compelling and high-quality designs that amplify the voice of child care across membership, events, research, products, partnerships, and advocacy efforts. This role requires a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment—someone who can manage several deliverables simultaneously, take direction quickly and correctly, and move from concept to execution while maintaining brand integrity. The Graphic Designer must be flexible, highly responsive to feedback, and able to absorb and apply brand guidelines across all design products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital ads, multimedia, social media assets, print collateral, and branding projects. The candidate must also have a strong affinity for dynamic data visualization, especially using Flourish, with the ability to translate raw data into clear, visually appealing, and accurate charts, tables, graphics, and infographics. The candidate must be comfortable iterating based on feedback, refining their work efficiently until the final product meets both stakeholder expectations and CCAoA’s brand standards.
