About The Role
The Web Developer, Patient Acquisition Strategies, is a vital member of the Brand and Growth Marketing department. This remote position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing OU Health’s web and marketing technology infrastructure, supporting efforts to attract and engage new patients. The role involves working closely with the Patient Acquisition & Consumer Engagement Manager to build a seamless digital ecosystem that drives patient acquisition, engagement, and conversion. As part of the insourced web team, the strategist will serve as the primary developer and martech integrator, ensuring all web systems—from content management systems to customer relationship management tools—operate harmoniously to support measurable growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience managing websites or martech integrations within a complex organizational environment, preferably in healthcare.
No specific licenses or certifications required, but relevant certifications in web development or marketing automation are a plus.
Proficiency in front-end and back-end web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
Experience with CMS configuration and deployment, such as Drupal, AEM, Sitecore, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM integrations, and marketing automation APIs.
Experience with website personalization tools and techniques.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Build, manage, and optimize the OUHealth.com CMS, including creating templates, components, and integrations to enhance website functionality.
Configure and maintain integrations between web platforms, Salesforce, and marketing automation systems to ensure seamless data flow and campaign execution.
Develop and manage data connections for analytics, conversion tracking, and performance dashboards to monitor and improve digital campaigns.
Support SEO, GEO targeting, schema markup, site speed enhancements, and accessibility compliance to improve website visibility and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the web ecosystem promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Implement A/B testing and personalization features to increase engagement and conversion rates.
Collaborate with content and UX teams to translate marketing objectives into functional web solutions that meet user needs and organizational goals.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, release notes, and version control for all web and martech assets to ensure consistency and ease of updates.
Stay informed about emerging tools, trends, and best practices in healthcare martech and digital experience platforms to continuously improve OU Health’s digital capabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall marketing and digital strategy.
