Job Summary
The Graphic Designer is a key contributor within LifeLearn’s Industry Solutions team, reporting to the Creative Director. This role is ideal for a conceptually strong, detail-oriented designer with 3–5 years of experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes ownership of their work from idea to final delivery.
You will contribute fresh ideas, execute across print, digital, and motion projects, and collaborate closely with writers, project managers, biomedical communicators, and multimedia specialists. This role requires creative thinking, strong technical execution, and the confidence to articulate design rationale internally.
This is a mid-level role with meaningful opportunity for growth within a clearly defined creative career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Creativity & Concept Development
Contribute original, solution-focused ideas to creative briefs and brainstorming sessions.
Translate strategic objectives into compelling visual concepts and design systems.
Clearly articulate design rationale in internal reviews, aligning creative decisions with project goals and audience needs.
Stay current with design, marketing, and technology trends and actively share inspiration with the team.
Design Execution
Deliver polished, production-ready assets across print, digital, presentation, and motion projects.
Design brand-forward PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials for internal and external audiences.
Create motion graphics and support video editing projects in collaboration with the Multimedia Manager.
Build accurate, technically sound files that meet vendor and platform specifications.
Maintain high standards of visual consistency, typography, layout, and brand application.
Maintain organized file structures to support efficient collaboration and handoff.
Ownership & Reliability
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
Take full ownership of assigned projects with minimal oversight.
Proactively identify potential design or production challenges and recommend solutions early.
Follow established workflows, briefs, and timelines with accountability and professionalism.
Collaboration & Growth
Partner closely with project managers, writers, biomedical communicators, and multimedia team members to deliver integrated solutions.
Receive and apply feedback constructively to strengthen creative output.
Demonstrate a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Continuously expand creative and technical skills.
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
3+ years of professional design experience (agency, in-house, or equivalent).
Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, layout expertise, and creative problem-solving.
Proven ability to manage time effectively, remain organized, and adapt under pressure.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain design decisions clearly in internal settings.
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
Technical Skills
Proficient on Mac platform.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Strong PowerPoint design capabilities.
Working proficiency in motion graphics and basic video editing.
Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Monday.com) is an asset.
Experience with Articulate Storyline is considered an asset.
