About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Web Application Developer to join our dynamic team at NextGenEnergyJobs. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications that utilize the latest frontend technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and product management, to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. You should have proven experience in building standards-compliant Web Components using tools such as Stencil.js or Lit. Familiarity with modern Single Page Application frameworks like React, Ember, or Vue is essential. Experience working specifically with the Ember framework and knowledge of Esri’s ArcGIS platform will be considered a significant advantage. Candidates must demonstrate a sincere commitment to writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code, along with excellent problem-solving, communication, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable web applications utilizing custom, reusable, and responsive UI components to enhance user experience.
Implement disciplined software engineering practices, including automated testing, comprehensive code reviews, and writing pragmatic, maintainable code.
Collaborate closely with design teams and product owners to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements that meet user needs and business goals.
Stay current with the latest frontend technologies and industry best practices to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
Identify and troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure the security and stability of web applications.
