About The Role

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Web Developer to join our dynamic engineering firm on a remote basis, strictly for candidates within the United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that support our engineering projects and strengthen our online presence. Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and project managers, you will create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless functionality across our digital platforms. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
Proven experience as a web developer, preferably within engineering or technical environments
Proficiency with frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and MongoDB
API integration experience
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Trello
Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement web applications utilizing modern programming languages and frameworks
Create responsive and mobile-first designs to ensure optimal user experiences across devices
Build and maintain back-end services and databases to support web functionalities
Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Participate in project meetings, providing updates, feedback, and addressing technical challenges
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform interface design improvements
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs aligned with company branding and client needs
Implement thorough testing procedures, including unit and integration testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
Regularly update web applications to enhance features, security, and performance based on user feedback
Monitor website performance and implement optimizations for speed and efficiency
Maintain detailed documentation of code, development processes, and workflows for future reference and onboarding
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and engineering applications
Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills
