Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer for a remote contract assignment focused on event production, print, web, social media, and multimedia design. The role involves creating a range of visual assets for a large convention, along with promotional materials and digital content.

You will collaborate with a team of graphic designers and report to the Graphics Lead. The ideal candidate has at least three years of graphic design experience, strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage multiple projects while working independently and with a team.

Key Responsibilities

•Design environmental graphics, event app graphics, multimedia and audiovisual presentations, merchandise, and promotional items for a large convention.
•Create social media graphics, flyers, brochures, direct mail materials, advertisements, and web assets.
•Develop visual materials for print, digital, event, and multimedia applications.
•Collaborate with other graphic designers to deliver design assets that meet project requirements.
•Report to the Graphics Lead and coordinate work within the design team.
•Manage design tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.

Required Qualifications

•At least 3 years of graphic design experience.
•Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
•Experience with PowerPoint, Keynote, and Prezi for presentations.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom.
•Experience working on a Mac platform.
•Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•A reliable computer and internet connection for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

•Illustration skills are a plus.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

•Hourly Rate: $38–$40, depending on experience and level.
•Employment Type: Contract.
