Job Description
The role owns the social media presence end-to-end — building and running the content engine across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for a fast-growing technology company.
This matters because social is a primary demand-generation and brand channel: the role directly shapes how the market perceives the product and converts followers into pipeline, community, and customers in both B2B and B2C motions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a multi-platform social strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube tied to brand and pipeline goals
Own the content calendar; write, edit, and coordinate posts, short-form video, and launch campaigns with design and product marketing
Run paid social campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Meta, X Ads) — audience targeting, budget allocation, creative testing, and optimization
Build and manage an employee advocacy and executive visibility program to amplify reach organically
Monitor and report on KPIs (engagement, follower growth, CTR, social-attributed pipeline) using Sprout Social, GA4, and native analytics
Engage the community in real time — respond, monitor sentiment, and escalate issues during product launches and incidents
Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and emerging formats; pilot new channels and content types before competitors
What We Are Looking For
3-6 years running social media for a B2B or B2C technology brand, with measurable growth in audience, engagement, or pipeline contribution
Deep hands-on experience with scheduling and analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, GA4) and paid social ad managers
Strong copywriting chops — able to write sharp, on-voice copy for executives and engineers alike
Experience producing or directing short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts
Comfortable presenting performance data to leadership and adjusting strategy based on results
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Bonus: experience with community management platforms (Discord, Slack communities), social listening tools (Brandwatch, Mention), or running social for a developer/technical audience
