Business Manager at HiCareer

We’re helping a remote-first tech company (~500 employees) hire a Business Manager to work closely with leadership and support high-priority projects across the business. This is a hands-on, analytical, and fast-moving role — ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, coordinating across functions, and turning strategy into action.

You’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one, while learning how a fast-scaling company operates across product, growth, finance, and operations.

🎯 What You’ll Do

Lead or support key cross-functional initiatives — from internal reporting to go-to-market planning
Structure and track progress on business priorities (OKRs, strategic projects, product milestones)
Analyze business metrics and create dashboards, reports, and recommendations
Prepare presentations and briefing material for internal and external stakeholders
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and help implement solutions
Act as a central coordination point between teams — keeping people aligned and focused

Tools & Skills You’ll Likely Use

Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable or similar for documentation and tracking
BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau) or light SQL for reporting and data slicing
Project management tools (Linear, Trello, Asana, or similar)
Strong written communication — for documentation, internal updates, and presentation decks

✅ What We’re Looking For

2–5 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, consulting, strategy, or similar roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you bring structure to ambiguity
Excellent communicator — across functions, levels, and time zones
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple threads in parallel
Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first team
Bonus: experience from SaaS, fintech, or startup environments
