Overview
Mattered is a performance-focused growth agency that helps brands scale through email, SMS, and lifecycle strategy. We’re hiring a Head of Social Media to take full ownership of our social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn—focused entirely on creating short-form video content that drives views, followers, and meetings booked.
You’ll be responsible for producing, editing, and publishing Reels designed to go viral and convert attention into leads. This is a hands-on role with clear KPIs and direct attribution—our tracking infrastructure is already in place, and we’ll know exactly what comes from your work.
Responsibilities
Plan, script, edit, and publish short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) across all platforms
Lead hook testing, topic planning, and visual experimentation to drive reach and engagement
Turn raw assets (clips, decks, quotes, case studies, recordings) into high-performing content
Collaborate closely with leadership to turn insights into story-driven, sales-aligned content
Manage publishing cadence and calendar to maintain consistent output
Monitor post performance and make weekly data-driven adjustments
KPIs
Total video views (monthly)
Net new followers across channels
Meetings booked via social (attributed through existing tracking)
Bonus structure tied to inbound leads and closed deals generated from organic content
Requirements
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in content creation or social media strategy
Deep understanding of the short-form landscape (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn)
Advanced editing ability in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and how to deliver value quickly
High attention to detail and a relentless mindset for testing and iterating
Self-starter who can build a high-output content engine with minimal oversight
