Pay Range: $25-$27/hr on W2, 40 hrs per week

Content Strategist, French

We’re looking for an experienced UX writer to join our team and lend a human touch to some of the most complicated corners of Alibaba.com. You will be at the forefront of groundbreaking initiatives and play a crucial role in the use of content strategy to drive business results.
You’ll work on everything from content audit to copywriting to localization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape strategy alongside PMs, design alongside designers, and more.
Along the way, you’ll help define French writing guidelines with a professional and local perspective that captures the culture nuances.
The ideal candidate will be a French native speaker with great working proficiency in English.
They should possess a wealth of relevant UX writing experience, with the ability to generate
quality content under tight deadlines.
This is a contractor role that will be onsite in Sunnyvale, CA

Key Responsibilities And Expectations

Combine understanding of business objectives and user experience needs to create high-quality and localized interface content for a wide variety of projects and scenarios.
Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with PMs, designers, and developers.
Craft UX writing guidelines forFrench following the main brand style guide and content guidelines to ensure all content delivered is accurate with consistent voice and tone
Manage and track project progress to ensure that all requests are delivered on time.
Leverage data and market insights for decision making including content optimization and new concept development.

Qualifications

3+ years of UX content experience. E-commerce or agency experience preferred.
Strong product thinking
Experience using data and research to guide writing decisions
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; related degree preferred but not
required.
A great understanding of theFrench local markets, especially in B2B.
Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills
Spoken Mandarin is a bonus.
