Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Design Director to join our in-house creative team. This role is a dynamic blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, responsible for elevating our brand through compelling, conversion-driven design across all channels. The ideal candidate brings a sharp editorial eye, a refined aesthetic sensibility, and a proven ability to mentor and inspire creative talent. You’ll set the standard for creative excellence while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and growth
Review and approve all outgoing design work across channels, including POP, web design, paid media assets, organic social, email marketing, and more
Collaborate with the Creative Director to build upon newly established brand guidelines and further develop our creative strategies
Audit the current workflow and transition the team to a more efficient one
Develop comprehensive templates and guides, train the team on best practices
Lead the development of new brand systems
Analyze creative performance, leveraging insights to refine design strategies for improved engagement and sales
Partner directly with print vendors to ensure quality output
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Present design concepts with clarity and confidence
Stay current on industry trends, materials, and technologies
Traveling to meet the team in-person 6 times a year

Skills/Qualifications

8+ years of professional design experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or related field
Exceptional portfolio demonstrating design mastery across channels
Experience with brand strategy and identity development; keen sense of market and consumer dynamics
Deep understanding of print production processes and vendor management
Expert level hands-on experience with Figma, leading collaborative design processes
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch creative ideas to stakeholders
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation
Proficiency with AI programs is a plus
Experience in the interiors industry is a plus
Able and willing to travel as necessary
