Role Overview

Elevate is embarking on an exciting transformation journey from a non-tech company to a product-led organization where our technology will become a primary revenue driver. Join our rapidly growing engineering team that’s setting the foundation for this transformation.

You’ll collaborate with talented engineers, product leaders, and UX/UI designers to enhance and evolve our existing Ticket Management platform. This platform is already operational and selling thousands of tickets daily, powering our ticketing business and enabling clients to maximize revenue through intelligent pricing, distribution, and sales analytics. You’ll focus on creating exceptional user experiences through our micro-frontend architecture and shared component libraries that drive consistency across all our products.

Key Responsibilities

Build Exceptional Experiences: Create intuitive, performant user interfaces that make complex ticket management workflows simple and delightful
Partner with Design: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers throughout the design and development process, providing technical feedback on feasibility and suggesting improvements that enhance both user experience and technical implementation
Implement Micro-Frontend Architecture: Help establish and evolve our micro-frontend approach, enabling multiple teams to work independently while maintaining a consistent user experience
Develop Component Libraries: Design and build shared component libraries that establish design consistency and accelerate development across all our products
Bridge Design and Engineering: Act as a key liaison between design and engineering teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and maintaining design intent in production
Solve Real Customer Problems: Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand pain points and validate solutions through user testing and feedback
Champion Frontend Best Practices: Establish patterns for accessibility, performance, and responsive design across our applications
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with backend engineers, designers, product managers, and agency teams to deliver cohesive solutions

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

5+ years of experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript (or similar)
Experience designing, building, and maintaining reusable component libraries that scale across multiple products
Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture patterns and implementation strategies
Understanding that technology exists to solve customer problems and create business value
Strong appreciation for UX/UI design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers
Experience working closely with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and prototypes into high-quality, performant implementations
You start with understanding the problem deeply before jumping to solutions
You value learning through rapid experimentation and embrace a “progress over perfection” approach
You measure success by business impact and customer satisfaction, not just by features shipped
Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working effectively with development agency partners is a plus
Background in ticketing systems or similar transactional systems is a plus
Experience with: Core Technologies: React, TypeScript, MUI, State Management: Redux Build Tools: Webpack, Vite, Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright

This role is remote, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement in the following cities: New York, NY; Santa Clara, CA; Charlotte, NC; Salt Lake City, UT; or Nashville, TN.

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in San Francisco, New York City, Charlotte, Salt Lake City or Nashville.
