About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our remote team at Octave-X. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that incorporate the latest in AI and web technologies.
Your expertise will contribute to building innovative solutions that integrate machine learning models and deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about full-stack development, possesses strong proficiency in React, Rust, and Python, and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, secure, and performant applications. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with a focus on collaboration and technical excellence. You will work closely with our AI and product teams to create seamless integrations and optimize application performance, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of technological innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
4+ years of experience in full-stack web development
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
Experience with Rust and Python backend development
Proven ability to write and maintain comprehensive API documentation
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Pytest, etc.
Knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes
Experience with database design and optimization
Understanding of WebAssembly and integration of Rust with web applications
History of contributing to open-source projects is a plus
Responsibilities
Design and implement full-stack web applications utilizing React, Rust, and Python
Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure thorough API documentation
Collaborate with AI teams to integrate machine learning models into web applications
Write comprehensive test suites for both frontend and backend components to ensure reliability
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security following best practices
Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile development processes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows and tools
Stay updated with emerging web technologies and AI advancements to incorporate innovative solutions
