Fullstack Engineer (React + Node.js) – Remote (US & LATAM Candidates)

We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer experienced in modern JavaScript/TypeScript development based in the U.S. or Latin America for a full-time contract opportunity. This is a 100% remote role with flexibility to overlap U.S. Central Time (CT) hours.
What You’ll Do

Build and maintain end-to-end web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver user-facing features and APIs
Design scalable backend services and database models with PostgreSQL
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices
Integrate with third-party services and internal microservices using REST and GraphQL
Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban)
Deploy and monitor services in cloud environments using AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Continuously improve application performance, security, and developer experience
What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience building web applications with React and Node.js
Strong TypeScript skills across both frontend and backend codebases
Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
Familiarity with RESTful API and GraphQL design and consumption
Experience deploying applications using Docker and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
Ability to write unit and integration tests with tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Supertest
Strong communication and problem-solving skills in remote settings
Bonus

Experience with modern state management libraries (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, etc.)
Familiarity with Prisma or other modern ORMs
Exposure to serverless architecture and AWS services like API Gateway or DynamoDB
Knowledge of authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT, Cognito)
Experience working in fast-paced startups or agile product teams
