About The Role
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a 1099 contract basis, working remotely. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail to develop compelling visual content across multiple platforms. This role involves brainstorming, conceptualizing, and executing innovative design campaigns and elements that can be utilized for print and digital distribution. The designer will ensure visual consistency and brand cohesion across all materials, including logos, signage, websites, social media content, brochures, banners, event materials, and more. They will also provide creative input on website design, social media graphics, video clips, and photography projects, adhering to accessibility standards such as 508 Compliance. The candidate must be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in the graphic design industry
Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, or a related field (preferred)
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with varying requirements
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Experience working within tight deadlines and budgets
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders
Proficiency in editing images and design assets efficiently
Knowledge of current visual design trends and application
Understanding of accessible design principles and 508 Accessibility Standards
Responsibilities
Brainstorm, conceptualize, and create innovative design campaigns and elements for print and digital distribution
Develop visual content for advertising, signage, websites, social media, logos, billboards, banners, brochures, direct mail, flyers, e-newsletters, and event materials
Ensure consistency and a cohesive look across all branding elements, including logos, fonts, colors, and other visual assets
Provide creative input and support for website design, social media platforms, video clips, and photography projects
Adhere to 508 Accessibility Standards and other relevant accessibility guidelines
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget
Coordinate with project stakeholders, responding to new information, feedback, and revisions as needed
Edit images and design assets efficiently to meet project specifications
Stay informed about current visual design trends and incorporate them into projects
Perform other design-related tasks as assigned by management
