AIRS Medical Inc., founded in October 2018, is a medical AI startup based in Seoul, Korea, that builds innovative products and services to improve patient experience and institutional efficiency in areas where productivity is limiting clinical value.
AIRS has demonstrated unparalleled deep learning technology in MR image reconstruction, consecutively winning 2019 and 2020 fastMRI Challenge hosted by Facebook AI Research (FAIR) and NYU Langone Health. This SwiftMR technology is a standalone software solution that enables up to 50% MRI scan time reduction without compromising image quality and has successfully been commercialized in Korea and the US market.
With the recent acquisition of AI-robotics-based startup, Artiq, AIRS aims to further solidify its unique market position of diagnostic efficiency as well as its monopoly of top-notch talents in AI and robotics. Artiq brings to AIRS a new product, AIIV, a venipuncture automation robot. The prototype is ready to undergo clinical trials in summer 2024 in Korea, with commercial launch targeted for the end of 2024, which will be the first commercialization of its kind in the world.
AIRS has finalized a $20 million Series C fundraising stage last July. The accumulated total of funds raised to date is approx. $45 million.
🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile, creative, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with 5+ years of experience to lead the visual and digital communication efforts across multiple touchpoints. This multifaceted role blends hands-on graphic design with strategic digital marketing, supporting product launches, global conferences, brand campaigns, and customer engagement efforts.
This is a U.S.-based remote position. While we welcome applicants from across the United States, preference will be given to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone to align with collaboration hours.
🚩 Key Responsibilities
Visual Content Creation
Design visually compelling assets for digital and print, including social media graphics, infographics, brochures, case studies, and slide decks
Develop high-quality conference and tradeshow materials (e.g., banners, booth graphics, handouts)
Create short-form animated videos for product promotion, testimonials, and thought leadership content
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all assets
Digital Marketing Execution
Design and build visually engaging email campaigns (e.g., conference promotions, product updates) using tools like [whichever email clients we might use]
Develop and implement creative assets for paid and organic campaigns, landing pages, and website visuals
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to ensure alignment and effectiveness
Platform & Tool Proficiency
Expert-level experience in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Canva, and other design tools
Comfortable working in marketing platforms and CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, etc)
Requirements
5+ years of experience in graphic design and/or digital marketing, preferably in the healthcare, life sciences, or MedTech industries
A strong portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of digital and print projects
Experience supporting global marketing initiatives across USA, EMEA, and LATAM is a plus
A strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity and business goals
Excellent time management skills and comfort managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a positive, proactive attitude
🏅 Bonus Experience (Nice To Have)
Video editing and animation experience using After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
Familiarity with medical or technical concepts and ability to simplify complex ideas visually
Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote or distributed team environment.
