About the role
Why we need you
As our first product marketing manager, you’ll be developing and executing product marketing programs for how legal teams of the future work. Your impact will be direct and measurable. The best part? The product is great and it’s easy to get adoption. We have clear, deep product market fit as customers are clamoring for our product. As a product marketing manager, your duties will include positioning and marketing new releases, analyzing market behavior, liaising with partners, and increasing our overall market share.
The role requires both strategic and critical thinking as well as the ability to translate strategy into a set of marketing programs and tactics that produce results. You are comfortable with the strategy of a leadership role and the execution of individual components of an effective marketing plan. You’re a curious person who wants to dig into things, and you enjoy keeping up to date with the latest and greatest in marketing.
What you’ll do
Leading product and feature releases communication and positioning strategies
Analyzing market trends to identify new product and packaging opportunities
Creating sales, customer success, and partner enablement materials
Interviewing customers and prospects to understand their workflows and use cases.
Performing and maintaining competitor analysis
Improving our new logo acquisition sales funnel opportunities
Improving time to and size of expansion opportunities with current customers by providing Customer Success and Sales team with resources and assets
Generating and managing a customer story library
Creating and managing foundational marketing materials, such as personas, ICP, and feature breakdowns
Develop and evolve key brand differentiation messaging
Facilitating analyst engagement
Assisting product in product development strategies
Performing win/loss analysis and interviews to improve conversion rates
Reporting on success and learnings of product marketing activities
You need these qualifications
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with proven success in B2B product marketing
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
Deep understanding of best practices within product marketing, including working with product and solutions teams, creating assets from scratch, and product release strategies
Proven success in quickly translating strategy into messaging and materials that deliver results
Outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive messages
Proven ability to self-manage projects and work independently
Strong project management skills and organizational skills to manage multiple projects
Data-driven, experimentative approach to testing out new strategies and messaging
Deep understanding of best practices in creating marketing content assets, such as ebooks, videos, presentations, and articles
Compensation
The expected range of compensation starts at $150K to $200K depending on level. We give candidates the ability to choose between equity and cash.
