About The Role

The SEO Manager at Marcel Digital plays a pivotal role in driving qualified leads and revenue for B2B clients through strategic organic search initiatives. This position extends beyond traditional rankings and traffic metrics, focusing on developing and executing SEO strategies that align directly with clients’ business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical SEO expertise, strategic thinking, and content acumen, enabling them to analyze complex organic search environments, identify growth opportunities across the marketing funnel, and implement tailored SEO solutions. Collaboration is key, as the SEO Manager will work closely with paid media, analytics, and web development teams to deliver unified, revenue-oriented results. Reporting to the Director of SEO, the role requires a proactive mindset, a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies that enhance client success.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably within a B2B agency or demand-generation environment
Proven ability to link SEO performance with lead generation and revenue growth
Deep knowledge of technical SEO, including site architecture, on-page, and off-page factors
Experience with modern search ecosystems and algorithm updates
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus
Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to support content creation and workflow efficiency
Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across various industries

Responsibilities

Own and optimize organic search performance with a focus on revenue growth
Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and AEO strategies to increase visibility, demand capture, and conversion of high-intent traffic
Act as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning search initiatives with broader business and marketing objectives
Conduct technical SEO audits, identify site issues, and implement technical optimizations
Perform content gap analyses and oversee on-page SEO enhancements
Leverage modern tools, AI, and manual expertise to deliver scalable SEO solutions
Prepare and present insights, reports, and storytelling that connect SEO results to business outcomes
Collaborate across teams to ensure integrated marketing strategies and continuous improvement
Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies to innovate strategies
