Sr. Graphic Designer (Remote)

We are looking for a rockstar designer with an impressive portfolio to join our Marketing team. The Sr. Graphic Designer will work closely with the Graphic Design Manager to design and develop collateral sales materials to support internal and external marketing efforts. In addition, the Sr. Graphic Designer will conceptualize engaging packaging artwork and manage production timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

Supports day-to-day activities of the marketing department
Designs collateral and other items to support internal and external marketing efforts
Develops and completes packaging design from beginning stage to production-ready files
Creates conceptual designs for packaging, collateral materials and other projects that require creative artwork
Executes and applies brand style guide elements, including logo, product branding, typography, packaging, photography, video, ensuring consistency with brand positioning
Works with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure packaging graphics are in compliant
Works with Marketing team to supply creative updates for social media platforms
Supports Sales team with collateral including renderings, mockups and prototypes
Maintains knowledge of creative marketing trends and food and beverage best practices
Maintains organization of electronic project files
Independent brainstorming and team collaboration on product solutions and packaging
Mentors and assists junior designers
Attends press runs for clients as necessary

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
6 Years – Experience in Position
0 Years – Experience managing people/projects

10+ Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
10+ Years – Experience working in Position
2 Years – Experience managing people/projects

Competencies

Highly proficient in all industry leading software including Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Illustrator & Photoshop)
Experience with 3D programs a plus.
7+ years of graphic design experience in many aspects of design (packaging, merchandising, POP, sales collateral, print, web, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Communicates effectively to manage expectations
Ability to work in a Mac environment
Understanding of multimedia/interactive design principles, ability to design for web, video and animation a plus.
Strong organization and time management skills
Highly collaborative team player, able to work proactively with multiple stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful and creative thinker
Passion for design and knowledgeable on industry trends

Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts, graphic design coursework focused on branding, interactive design and typography
