Job Description
Creatives single handedly have one of the hardest jobs at our company because they are responsible for developing ideas that have never been done before. Our Creatives are encouraged to shoot for the moon and come up with ideas for bits, scenes, challenges while thinking of how to create the best environment for content to freely form. You have to think of people, places, sets, mechanisms that all culminate into creating a viral video that makes sense for the viewer.
This creative role must translate the creative team’s video outlines into simplified content that utilizes retention analytics. They are the conduit for all things creative, and as such this person must be dialed into not only our frequencies but other current trends and viral content.
To be considered for the role: We want you to pitch a viral 12 minute video using the title Last to Leave Deserted Island, Wins It! There are NO parameters on what you can do with this concept. Assume everything is possible 🙂 Give us a intro, content/bits/story, and outro! Please submit a video of you pitching this content! What you’ll be doing:
Develop the framework for an original, high-performing viral video
Collaborate with the producers on the execution of ideas
Lead writing sessions for unique ideas and situations
Pitching ideas/bits/challenges to other creatives for approval
Research trends and tactics for retention against YouTube algorithm
What makes you a fit:
Obsessive over YouTube content whether watching or creating
Able to communicate ideas and pitches in a clear concise manner that includes visuals
Experience developing content from ground up – ideation to the final cut
Self Starter mentality, able to push individually to work on concepts and also work with a team
Strong command of all things social and viral
Knowledge of influencer/creator marketing and branding
*the purpose of the pitch video isn’t to get content ideas, it’s to see how you form ideas, thoughts, and pitch around a video concept. Our creatives are visual people so it helps them understand who you are rather than looking at a resume 🙂
