Role Description
This flexible, remote role as a Blockchain Developer involves building the blockchain foundation to transform industry operations. You will implement distributed ledger technology for vehicle history tracking, smart contracts for rental agreements, secure payments, and ownership transfers.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years focused on blockchain technology
• Strong proficiency in blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polygon, or similar)
• Expert knowledge of smart contract development using Solidity, Rust, or similar languages
• Experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar blockchain integration libraries
• Understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus algorithms, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, Go, or Java)
• Experience with blockchain development frameworks (Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry)
• Knowledge of token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155)

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop blockchain-based solutions for vehicle ownership records, transaction history, and rental agreements
• Implement smart contracts for automated car rental processes, payments, and service agreements
• Build decentralized applications (dApps) for vehicle provenance tracking and maintenance records
• Integrate blockchain technology with existing car sales and rental management systems
• Develop secure cryptocurrency and digital payment solutions for vehicle transactions
• Create NFT-based digital certificates for vehicle ownership and authenticity verification
• Implement consensus mechanisms and ensure network security and scalability
• Collaborate with product teams to identify blockchain use cases in automotive operations
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and security audits of smart contracts
• Stay current with blockchain trends and evaluate emerging technologies for business applications

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the automotive, supply chain, or asset management industries
• Knowledge of IPFS, decentralized storage solutions, and oracle networks
• Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain bridges
• Experience with DeFi protocols and tokenomics design
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in blockchain applications
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
• Certifications in blockchain development (Certified Blockchain Developer, etc.)
• Experience with IoT integration for vehicle telematics and blockchain connectivity
