Job Description

Join an exciting project as the lead video editor for a new formatted unscripted interview series. You will be responsible for shaping raw multi-camera footage into engaging, fast-paced 10-minute episodes, each built around six recurring segments. The show features a host and guest, filmed over two hours and condensed into a tight, entertaining final cut. Your creative input will be essential in establishing the show’s comedic rhythm, emotional highlights, and distinctive segment transitions. The initial engagement covers editing the first 1–2 episodes, with the potential to continue across a 13-episode series. All work can be completed remotely, with the first episode due by October 26.

Deliverables

Edit 1–2 multi-camera episodes into 10-minute final cuts, emphasizing pacing, humor, and emotional beats
Integrate transitions, music, and sound design to give each segment a unique identity
Create on-screen graphics and countdown timers for timed challenges
Produce short vertical social clips from each episode for digital platforms
Collaborate closely with producers to ensure the show’s vision and tone are achieved
Deliver the first episode by the specified deadline

Requirements

Proven experience editing unscripted, reality, or digital interview content, with a strong portfolio demonstrating comedic timing and social-first editing
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent editing and motion graphics software)
Skilled in multi-camera editing, sound design, and integrating music and graphics
Ability to identify and highlight the best moments from long-form footage
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience creating content for social media platforms (vertical clips, teasers, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
