A dedicated YouTube creator is seeking a highly skilled freelance video editor for a long-term collaboration on a premium, story-driven channel. With over 1.5 years invested in building a strong content backlog and filming across multiple countries, the channel is poised for launch with approximately 15 videos ready for editing. The focus is on delivering engaging, retention-first content that stands out for its narrative quality, pacing, and visual excellence. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with detailed edit notes, iterative feedback via frame.io, and maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of post-production, including sound design, music, color grading, graphics, and VFX. This is an opportunity to contribute creatively to a channel aiming for significant growth and audience impact.

Deliverables

Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos with a strong emphasis on storytelling and viewer retention
Implement detailed edit notes and revisions efficiently using frame.io
Enhance videos with professional sound design, music selection, and audio mixing
Apply advanced color grading and visual effects to elevate production value
Integrate graphics and motion elements as needed to support narrative and branding
Ensure all content meets high standards for pacing, clarity, and engagement
Collaborate closely to iterate on feedback and deliver consistent, high-quality results

Requirements

Proven experience editing YouTube or similar online video content with a focus on storytelling
Mastery of industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
Strong skills in sound design, music editing, color grading, graphics, and VFX
Ability to interpret and execute detailed edit notes and feedback
