Graphic Designer at Wellness Equity Alliance

Job Description

Wellness Equity Alliance is a national multidisciplinary health organization that designs and delivers integrated, community-based care for populations most impacted by health inequities. We do this through mobile and field-based models, providing medical care, behavioral health services, substance use treatment, harm reduction, and care coordination in nontraditional settings such as encampments, schools, reentry sites, and rural communities, as well as with sovereign tribal nations. Grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and data-driven practices, WEA combines clinical expertise, lived experience, and advanced population health analytics to reduce barriers to care, improve continuity, and strengthen local systems. We have partnered with more than 60 public agencies, managed care plans, and community-based organizations across the U.S. to implement scalable, sustainable programs that are advancing health equity and improving outcomes for historically marginalized populations.

We are known as Renegades, Rebels, Disruptors, and Dreamers. If that sounds like you, we want you on our team.

Engagement Overview

Wellness Equity Alliance is seeking an experienced independent Graphic Designer to provide part-time design services supporting organizational, marketing, communications, executive, programmatic, and public health initiatives.

This engagement calls for a versatile design professional who can move comfortably between a leadership presentation, social media graphic, program brochure, event materials, website graphics, data visualization, or short-form video while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand.

The ideal contractor is an exceptional visual communicator who can understand the intent behind complex information and translate concepts, data, strategy, and technical content into materials that are accurate, easy to understand, visually compelling, and appropriate for the intended audience.

Projects are often time-sensitive and priorities can shift quickly. Strong judgment, responsiveness, flexibility, organization, and attention to detail are essential. The contractor will collaborate with Marketing and Communications, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams across WEA’s healthcare and public health initiatives.
