Job Description
Morningside Group is looking for a talented Video Editor & Motion Graphics Producer to own the complete post-production process for our YouTube and digital content. This role transforms ideas into polished, high-impact videos that educate, inspire, and engage our audience.
You’ll be responsible for video editing, motion graphics, and the integration of compelling visual assets—ensuring every project is technically excellent, creatively on-brand, and strategically aligned with our content goals. You’ll also design and maintain scalable post-production systems and explore AI-powered tools to enhance quality and output.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Motion Graphics
Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard tools.
Create and integrate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Ensure all output aligns with Morningside Group’s brand, tone, and visual guidelines.
Organisational & Collaborative Systems
Develop and maintain robust file management systems, version control practices, and organised asset libraries.
Implement clear naming conventions and folder structures to support efficient collaboration and scalable production.
Back up assets and final deliverables to protect work and streamline revisions.
Visual Asset Management
Source, organise, and manage B-roll, overlays, and supporting graphics with a focus on originality, consistency, and compliance.
Capture and edit screen recordings, product demos, and tutorials as required.
Integrate external visuals such as news clips, data overlays, and stock footage to strengthen final outputs.
Innovation & Workflow Optimisation
Research, test, and implement AI-powered tools or automations to improve editing workflows and asset creation.
Document workflows, best practices, and toolkits to ensure efficiency and adaptability.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve post-production systems and recommend solutions.
Team Collaboration & Support
Work closely with the Head of Content, Founders, and other editors to align on goals, narrative flow, and deadlines.
Participate in planning meetings, feedback sessions, and creative brainstorming.
Support additional post-production or creative tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics production.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
