Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on a range of international e-commerce projects, focusing on building and customizing Shopify stores. You will work on theme customization, performance optimization, and integration of third-party apps to enhance user experience and drive conversions. The position is project-based with the potential for ongoing or full-time engagement, ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced digital agency environment and can independently manage technical tasks while communicating effectively with clients.

Deliverables

Build and customize Shopify stores from scratch using themes
Extend store functionality through clean, maintainable code
Install, configure, and optimize Shopify apps for client needs
Optimize store speed and performance for improved UX and conversions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver project requirements
Provide ongoing support and enhancements as needed

Requirements

Proven experience developing and customizing Shopify stores
Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs
Experience with theme customization and app integrations
Ability to optimize site speed and performance
Solid understanding of e-commerce UX best practices
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Familiarity with international e-commerce standards is a plus
Availability for ongoing collaboration and potential full-time work
