Job Description

This is a remote position. McKeenix is seeking a highly meticulous and dependable Data Entry Processor to support the accuracy and integrity of company information across multiple internal systems. This fully remote position requires an individual who excels in precision, organization, confidentiality, and consistent productivity. The successful candidate will handle sensitive documentation, maintain data quality, and collaborate with various departments through secure remote communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately input, review, and maintain large volumes of data within internal databases and tracking systems.

Verify submitted information for completeness, legibility, and compliance with established processing standards.

Conduct regular data quality checks to identify inconsistencies, errors, or outdated entries requiring correction.

Prepare reports, summaries, and extraction files for managers, analysts, and technical teams.

Maintain organized digital records and update processing logs to ensure full traceability of completed tasks.

Uphold strict confidentiality while handling sensitive business and client information.

Coordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams through remote platforms to resolve data discrepancies.

Follow established workflows, maintain high productivity levels, and meet daily or weekly processing quotas.

Participate in training sessions, virtual meetings, and skill-development activities conducted in a remote setting.

Assist with process improvements by identifying inefficiencies or recommending adjustments to enhance accuracy.

Stay attentive and focused while completing repetitive tasks in a professional remote environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or business coursework preferred.

Demonstrated experience in data entry, administrative processing, or similar office support roles, including remote work experience.

Typing proficiency of at least 55 WPM with exceptional accuracy.

Strong command of spreadsheets, data tools, and office software applications.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain focus for extended periods in a remote setting.

Comfort in handling confidential information and adhering to privacy standards.

Reliable high-speed internet connection and an appropriate home workspace to support remote duties.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CRM systems, workflow management platforms, or automated processing tools.

Ability to adapt quickly to new software and procedural changes.

Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, or professional services. Hands-on experience with security assessments, architecture design, and risk management. Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls). Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) is preferred. Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity management, encryption, and network security. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with experience presenting to executives and technical teams. Consulting mindset: strong problem-solving, client-facing experience, and ability to lead engagements. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are a plus.
