DesignYourBasement is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to support our operations by accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining company data. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity and supporting internal teams with reliable information.
Key Responsibilities
Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems with a high level of accuracy
Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct as needed
Organize and manage digital files and records efficiently
Verify and cross-check information with source documents
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and customer information
Generate basic reports and summaries when required
Communicate with team members to clarify data discrepancies
Follow company procedures and data management standards
Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist with administrative tasks related to data handling
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) or Google Workspace
Good typing speed and computer literacy
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Basic problem-solving abilities
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
