About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Specialist to join our Finance Team. This role is vital in managing all aspects of consumer billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organizational standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating consumer records, processing billing transactions, resolving vendor issues, and supporting administrative functions related to billing and data management. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work, based in Waltham. The role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in accounting or billing to contribute to a mission-driven organization that values integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting or billing experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry systems
Reliable transportation to commute to the Waltham office
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities
Accurately update consumer billing records, including authorizations and approvals
Identify and resolve billing errors in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
Process high volumes of data entry related to consumer accounts and billing information
Work with vendors to resolve billing issues and ensure charges are correctly posted
Manage consumer copay billing on a monthly basis
Post checks and process payments for services rendered
Provide administrative support such as mailing invoices and generating monthly reports
Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to billing and data management
