This is a remote position. SIU Consultant Group is a full-service investigation firm committed to providing superior investigative services to employers, insurance carriers, public entities, third-party administrators, and legal counsel. We are seeking a focused and dependable Data Entry Typist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for typing, entering, and updating information accurately into company databases and systems. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working from home, has good typing skills, and pays close attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately type and enter data from source documents into digital systems

Verify and correct any data entry errors before submission

Maintain organized electronic files and records

Update existing data and ensure all information is current and accurate

Follow company data management policies and confidentiality standards

Communicate with supervisors or team members regarding data discrepancies

Perform simple administrative or clerical support tasks as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (some college a plus)

Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40–50 WPM preferred)

Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.)

Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Reliable internet connection and a personal computer or laptop

Prior data entry or typing experience preferred, but not required

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement, or related field.

Experience conducting surveillance and writing professional reports.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Proficient in investigative software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
