About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Front End Web Developer to join our Digital Engineering team. This position is based in Houston, TX but employee may work from any location in the United States subject to company remote work policy. The office location is 6380 Rogerdale Rd Houston Tx 77072.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

Primarily responsible for developing front-end code with some secondary utilization of server-side technologies.
Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of web-centric applications.
Develop customer-facing content (internet), with some allocation to maintaining intranet-based applications that support programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Terminal, third-party APIs, and multimedia applications to accomplish assigned projects.
Build applications using Internet Development tools for one or more platforms and applications.
Provide written design documents, test plans and test results.
Establish and communicate standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
Collaborate with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or closely related field,
2 years professional experience, including 2 years of experience working as Web or Email Developer; and 2 years of experience utilizing three out of four of the following standard web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, or JQuery.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment

Compensation And Work Hours

40 hrs/wk; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri; Salary $84,094 – $104,094/yr.
