About the Role
Gummicube is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing dev team. Gummicube works with top app developers around the world, and as a Full Stack Engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence the success of some of the biggest brands in the Google Play and Apple App Store. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on our business and can become a key player on our team.
What You’ll Do
Take a role in building the industry standard for app store optimization and mobile market intelligence
Help world-class publishers, as well as small indie studios, improve their app visibility in the vast mobile ecosystem
Improve the usability of our core platform based on client feedback and market research
Enhance our analytics platform which handles millions of data points each day
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of direct experience
Able to deliver, modify, and maintain modern full stack Javascript Node.js applications with React and GraphQL
Familiar integrating with AWS infrastructure (DynamoDB, RDS, S3) or similar
Experience with test-driven development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Git for version control, issue/feature branching, merge requests
Able to flex to other technical task and projects as needed including devops, data management, infosec, legacy systems, and/or device hacking
Foundation in computer science and web application architecture
Understanding the importance of delivering value to our clients, not just completing tasks to specs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Always interested in learning new technologies and paradigms
Flexible and able to jump between several different projects in all stages of development cycle from prototypes to live production
Experience experimenting with AI tools in your personal or professional life – or an eagerness to learn!
We’d Be Delighted If You Also Have
Experience with any of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, Typescript, IAC with Pulumi, Gitlab, Data API/web scraping, Meteor, MongoDB, Python
Big data processing and indexing with Spark and Scala
Mobile device- API discovery and reverse engineering with frida and mitm packet inspection
InfoSec, network vulnerability scanning and monitoring, pen testing and analysis
Work Location & Travel Requirements
Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.
Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.
This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.
Compensation
Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.
The starting base pay range for this position is: $90,000-$110,000 USD per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
