About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team at Soar Technology, LLC, a division of Accelint. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a variety of digital products, primarily utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools, Captivate, and the Unity game engine. This role involves close collaboration with Instructional Systems Designers, Software Engineers, 3D Artists, and Technical Leads to create engaging, high-fidelity visual content for training software and digital interfaces. The Graphic Designer will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into visually compelling graphics, motion graphics, and user interface elements that align with project requirements and brand standards.
The ideal candidate will support all design efforts, validate their work through regular reviews with Program Creative Leadership, and ensure seamless integration of designs into the game engine. They will participate in workshops, provide constructive feedback, and iterate on designs to achieve a cohesive user experience. A strong portfolio demonstrating core competencies in graphic design is required, showcasing proficiency in 2D graphics, motion graphics, UI design, and a keen eye for detail. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and other relevant tools
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts clearly and persuasively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams of designers and developers
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance
Responsibilities
Produce high-fidelity 2D graphics tailored for digital training products
Create motion graphics and ensure their proper implementation by software engineers
Design user interfaces for desktop and tablet applications, ensuring usability and aesthetic consistency
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with engineers and stakeholders
Develop mockups and illustrate design ideas to communicate concepts effectively
Provide ongoing feedback during the implementation process to ensure design fidelity and user experience quality
Participate in regular workshops with the Creative Director and Creative Operations team to maintain a cohesive design approach
Apply design thinking and questioning techniques to develop innovative strategies for complex problems
Perform additional duties as assigned to support project objectives
