About The Role

The Social Media Manager/Graphic Designer at Weichert, Realtors plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s digital presence. This hybrid position combines strategic social media management with creative graphic design to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will develop compelling content strategies, oversee daily social media operations, and collaborate with creative teams to produce visually appealing and impactful assets. This role requires a proactive individual who can analyze social media performance metrics, stay abreast of industry trends, and adapt strategies accordingly to ensure the brand remains competitive and relevant. By supporting marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, and internal training initiatives, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to strengthening Weichert’s brand identity and market positioning.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience. A minimum of three years’ experience managing social media initiatives within a corporate setting is required, with prior work in retail or consumer packaged goods being a plus. Additionally, at least two years of experience in graphic design and print production, showcasing a strong portfolio, is essential. Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Metricool, along with video editing and animation skills, is highly desirable. Candidates should have expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva. Strong writing, editing, and interviewing skills, combined with knowledge of social media analytics, legal guidelines, and platform-specific best practices, are crucial. The ability to manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment is essential. Knowledge of real estate marketing is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute daily social media operations, including content calendar planning, content creation, and user engagement activities.
Oversee development of social-specific content across all media channels, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and messaging standards.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative strategies and measurable objectives for expanding Weichert’s social media footprint.
Ensure consistency in branding across all platforms and contribute to rebranding efforts when necessary.
Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to craft impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences and supports business goals.
Develop and maintain a library of content assets, including images, videos, templates, and mockups, to streamline content production and ensure brand consistency.
Optimize social media pages for maximum visibility and engagement by setting up and maintaining profiles effectively.
Stay informed on social media trends, algorithm changes, and innovative design techniques to keep content fresh and competitive.
Prepare and present design concepts, drafts, and reports to internal teams and stakeholders for review and approval.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for organic and paid campaigns, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
Address brand and service issues identified through social activity, ensuring crisis communication protocols are followed promptly.
Support employee and agent engagement efforts by leveraging social media to amplify their roles as advocates for the company.
Create and deliver training materials on social media best practices to internal teams.
Continuously explore emerging technologies and media trends to identify opportunities for scalable business growth.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall marketing and branding objectives of the organization.
