Join Coastal as a Junior Graphic Designer, where you will be part of a vibrant marketing team, playing a vital role in how we tell our story to win business. Reporting directly to our Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll turn complex tech jargon into visual “ah-ha!” moments to support Coastal’s innovative services and brand. This is a high-impact role where your work won’t just live in a folder, it will be on the front lines of major client wins!

Role Responsibilities:
Apply and maintain brand guidelines across sales materials, with a sharp eye for consistency and quality.
Transform rough content, outlines, or notes into clear, visually engaging Google Slides.
Partner with sales to create high-impact presentations that clearly communicate our value and help secure new clients.
Create graphics for social media, websites, email, presentations, ads, and marketing collateral. Prepare final files for print production and digital outputs.
Participate in creative brainstorming, stay up-to-date on design trends, and share findings with the team to help us stay ahead of the curve.
Actively test, learn, and implement AI design tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate concepts faster, and scale our visual library.
Help manage and create design templates (Google Slides, social graphics, etc.) to empower the wider team and maintain consistency.
Ensure all materials are accurate, polished, and ready for use.
Work alongside our Senior Graphic Designer to continue learning and growing!
Experience/Skills Required:
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creative work.
Proficiency in Google Suite (primarily Slides), Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), and Canva.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Incredible eye for detail.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to learn business and technical concepts quickly.
A passion for staying up-to-date on design trends and new tools.
An AI-forward mindset and ability to leverage new technology.
A genuine desire to learn, hunger for feedback, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:
Experience with AI visual generation and prompting (i.e.. Midjourney).
Experience with Figma.
Experience with multi-media editing in Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
