The Company

Common CENTS™ Solutions is a leading provider of Enterprise Hospitality Solutions to the Healthcare, Senior Living, and Business Dining industries. The corporate office is located in Jackson, MS.

Common CENTS software systems are designed to provide convenience, increased efficiency, and savings in the foodservice and meal plan operations for healthcare, senior living, and business dining environments. We provide POS systems, cashless campus solutions, meal plan management, patient dining software and more.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Marketing Specialist manages the day-to-day marketing activities of Common CENTS™ Solutions, as well as the long-term marketing strategy for the company. The Marketing Specialist designs the annual marketing plan of the company. The Marketing Manager outlines and carries out the tasks to ensure the on-time implementation of the plan and the adherence to budgets and financial forecasts. This position offers the ability to work remotely.

Job Responsibilities

Managing all marketing for Common CENTS™ Solutions, both internal and external.
Developing the brand strategy for the company and products.
Develop, maintain, deploy, and adhere to 360 marketing plan/schedule.
Working closely with the Sales team to coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities and provide marketing support for individual reps and territories. Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and qualify sales prospects.
Working closely with the management team to develop go-to-market strategies and campaigns, as well as develop, maintain, and disseminate Common CENTS™ Solutions’ collateral and product information to the sales team and potential clients.
Maintain public website(s) and manage company social media channels. Use of HTML may be needed, but knowledge of SEO techniques is required.
Develop print and online advertising campaigns and strategic plans for ad placement.
Develop press releases and trade publication articles as appropriate to ensure the company obtains ongoing and appropriate exposure in the marketplace.
Produce external communications including quarterly newsletters.
Ensure that the company has appropriate client recognition programs.
Perform market research.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing activities.
Manage relationships and activities with 3rd party agencies and contractors including creative services, design services, public relations, and others.
Oversee corporate and brand identity across the organization as well as collaborate with other department heads to ensure all customer communications have proper branding.
Manage budget and financial responsibilities for the department.
Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Three or more years marketing management or related experience with a strong ability to absorb business acumen.
Experience in product marketing.
Ability to do research using industry trade and other reference materials as required.
Experience in digital marketing and social media.
Experienced wordsmith.
Demonstrated understanding of public relations, advertising and general marketing principles.
Proficient with MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).
Proficient with Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Some knowledge of HTML and website management.
Ability to work well while standing alone or as part of a team.
Action-oriented attitude that will find something to do, even if nothing is immediately assigned.
High initiative to ensure activities support marketing strategieis and projects are continuosly moving forward and executed.
Desire to provide outstanding client, vendor and press relationship management.
Excellent organizational skills.
Great attention to details and an eye for attractive design and attention-getting written and visual material.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including public speaking and press/media handling as well as creative writing skills.
Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
Willingness to enhance own performance through self-study.
A strong customer focused orientation.
Ability to travel for industry, customer, or marketing events as necessary.
