Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager

Full-time

AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to build and maintain a strong online presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with a strong visual eye — whether gained through social media experience or a design-related background — who enjoys creating engaging content and managing brand storytelling.

You’ll work closely with remote site supervisors to gather photos, videos, and project updates, turning raw content into polished posts that highlight operations, teams, equipment, and safety culture. Once trained, you’ll also take on social media management for a second brand within the group, using provided templates and brand guidelines to keep both channels consistent and on‑voice.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (photos, videos, graphics, and copy) across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Coordinate remotely with site supervisors to gather photos, videos, and updates from active job sites.
Transform raw content into polished, on-brand posts that showcase projects, crews, and company culture.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews professionally and promptly.
Design graphics and edit short-form video content using Canva.
Track basic performance metrics (likes, shares, reach, engagement) and provide monthly reports.
Support recruitment marketing by promoting job vacancies and culture-focused content.
Stay updated on social media trends — especially TikTok and Instagram Reels — and suggest fresh content ideas relevant to the industry.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all channels.
Once trained, manage social media for an additional brand using pre-built templates and established guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

1–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field OR a background in architecture, graphic design, visual arts, or another design discipline.
Strong visual eye and layout sense — design graduates and career-changers are welcome.
Confident using Canva for graphics and video editing.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Genuine interest in social media trends, especially short-form video.
Comfortable coordinating remotely with supervisors and team members.
Reliable, organised, and able to manage a content calendar independently.
Able to apply brand guidelines and templates consistently across multiple brands.
Bonus: interest in construction, civil works, or related industries.

What We Offer

Full-time, fully remote position with on-the-job training and mentoring.
Hands-on experience supporting a growing regional business.
Opportunity to expand into managing a second brand’s social presence as you progress.
Ready-made templates and brand guidelines to set you up for success from day one.
Potential to grow into broader marketing responsibilities over time.
