Job Description
Somerled is a design firm, specializing in short-term rentals. We have helped hundreds of investors across the US maximize the potential of their investment property through research, strategy, and design. We are as creative and design-forward as we are strategic thinking beyond “just a place to stay” to create experiential and memorable vacation rentals.
Job Overview
As the Content Marketing Specialist at Somerled, you will lead the charge in creating compelling, on-brand content across our social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest) and other organic digital channels. You’ll be responsible for both strategy and execution, developing content that captures our design-forward, hospitality-driven aesthetic while supporting business goals.
This role will report to the Marketing Manager and blends creativity with organization: you’ll own the content calendar, oversee post scheduling, manage visual asset organization, and ensure all content aligns with Somerled’s tone and style. You’ll also capture projects and behind-the-scenes content (some travel required), and collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and data-driven—someone who uses performance metrics and trend research to inform ongoing strategy, improve processes, and elevate our brand presence. If you’re passionate about content creation, love being hands-on with content creation, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
