Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. As a Software Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain systems that are critical to how Real Estate & Construction customers experience our client’s solutions. You’ll partner with product and other engineers to solve complex problems, improve performance, and raise the quality bar over time. Location: Remote

Compensation: $140,000 – $183,000 annually.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy features for SaaS platform, optimizing order assignment across vehicles
Develop both front-end and back-end systems, focusing 60% on front-end work
Refine functionality for logistics scenarios, including driver management and proof-of-delivery workflows
Improve system reliability, data accuracy, and app performance through thoughtful architecture
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers for technical planning and fast, high-quality outcomes
Triage and resolve production issues quickly, ensuring bugs are addressed within 48 hours
Foster a culture of high communication and continuous improvement

Qualifications

3+ years front-end engineering experience with React and Next.js, focusing on component architecture and performance optimization
3+ years back-end experience with Postgres and GraphQL, capable of writing efficient SQL queries
Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable architectures, balancing delivery timelines with long-term code health
Exceptional communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration and problem-solving
